What happens during escrow?
During escrow, many steps are accomplished such as preparing title. Insurance, tax proration, loan underwriting, inspections, appraisals etc.
How long does it take to close?
Closing generally takes about 4 weeks, however this can be longer or shorter depending on the type of loan and the condition of the property and how you are taking title.
